WHO: Fisk University Gymnastics, the nation’s first HBCU gymnastics team, and Vanderbilt University
WHAT: Vanderbilt University and Fisk University to announce joint historic Martin Luther King, Jr event, featuring all six college gymnastics teams from around the country with African-American women coaches, that will compete in the first meet of its kind at Memorial Gym.

Sunday, during halftime of the Louisiana Tech University -Vanderbilt University women’s basketball game, the Fisk University Gymnastics team will make an appearance to promote the historic MLK week gymnastics meet.
